๐Ÿ”’ Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

PlantIdentify ("we", "us") operates plantidentify.in. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information, particularly the plant photos you upload.

1. Plant Photos You Upload

When you upload or capture a photo for plant identification or health diagnosis, that image is sent from your device to our server, which forwards it to the Kindwise Plant.id API and/or Perenual API for analysis. The result is returned to you and displayed. We do not store your photos on our servers after the identification is complete. Third-party API providers (Kindwise, Perenual) have their own privacy policies governing how they handle image data submitted to their APIs.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not require account registration, email address, phone number, or any personal identification to use PlantIdentify. No personal data is collected through the identification tool.

3. Automatically Collected Data

Our hosting server automatically logs standard access information โ€” IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited โ€” for security and performance monitoring. This data is not sold or shared.

4. Google AdSense

We display advertisements through Google AdSense. Google uses cookies to serve personalised ads. You may opt out at Google Ads Settings. See Google's Privacy Policy.

5. Amazon Associates

PlantIdentify participates in the Amazon Associates Programme. Affiliate links to plant care products and gardening supplies on Amazon may use Amazon's cookies to track purchases. We earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you.

6. Third-Party APIs

7. Children's Privacy

PlantIdentify does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
